THE SONATI' S BAND

In the distant 1991 , I and my friend Stefano , decided to buy an acoustic guitar . I always like the electric guitar , but several persons suggested to buy before an acoustic one . After have "lost" several months , we understood that the suggestions came from "classic players" that never tried an electric . So we buy the mytic Fender Stratocaster and two HUGE amplifiers . The problem was that we had not the place to play at the . . . adequate volume ! So , after several years which the neightbourood wanted to kill us (we play at my home !) , we had the possibility to have a room in a house that my parents were selling . . . At that point another friend decided to buy a keyboard and start to play in the group . . . he was Marco , the guy that after . . . would have buy the house (incredible !) . We missed the drum , so we used (and still use) a programmable one . The "sound" started to be more refined . Last year we had another "new entry" , another . . . Marco ! . He plays the bass and our "sound" improved a lot .

So , the band is composed by 4 : Marco (Piri) is the "keyboard man" and singer ; Stefano (Stinky) play the electric rhythm guitar and is a singer too ; Marco is our "Super bass" ; I play the electric guitar as soloist and I sing too ( or better : I TRY ! . . . SMILE).

Recently we made a CD where we play several cover of group as Pink Floyd , Gimi Hendrix , Steve Ray Vaughan , Blur, Ac Dc , Clash , Cult , Deep Purple , Eagles , Oasis , Roxette , the Verve etc. etc. . . As you can see . . . YES ! We like the rock . . . but we also play several ballads and songs of italian groups that are . . . to dance with your partner ( SMILE) . A lot of fun , for our friends too , that sometimes come to see us and try to sing as in the Karaoke ! Still we miss the percussionist . . . after the "restructuration of our record room" we will see . . . we are "In the hands of Marco" . . . the new owner !
